Themes
This page covers org-wide reporting tools. It's visible to organization admins and to managers with reporting access—not to every team member.
Themes provides an organization-wide view of the main signals sayhii monitors through employee responses.
The page displays the organization's current weekly average for each theme. These results help leaders quickly understand which areas are performing well, which are changing, and which may need additional attention.
Groups with fewer than five respondents are suppressed to help protect employee anonymity.
Theme Overview
The main Themes page displays each available theme as a separate card. Each card may include:
- The theme name.
- The organization's current letter grade.
- The score as a percentage.
- Whether the theme has increased, decreased, or remained relatively stable.
The themes shown may include areas such as Demands, Recognition, Resources, Support, Team & Safety, and Work-Life Balance.
Select any theme card to open a more detailed view of that theme.
Theme Details
The Theme Detail page provides a deeper look at the selected theme and how its score has changed over time.
At the top of the page, users may see:
- The selected theme.
- Its four-week trend.
- Whether the score is increasing or decreasing.
- The number of respondents included in the current week.
- A dropdown for switching between available themes.
The page also provides a headline summarizing the organization's current result and how it compares with the previous month—the organization's score for the current week, the number of points the score has increased or decreased, and the percentage change from the previous period.
Trend Over Time
The trend section shows how the selected theme has changed across recent reporting periods. Users can switch between:
- Weekly: Shows the organization's average across recent weeks.
- Monthly: Shows the organization's results grouped by month.
This graph can help users identify patterns, sudden changes, and longer-term movement within the selected theme.
All Themes Comparison
The Theme Detail page also includes a summary of the organization's current scores across all themes, so you can compare the selected theme with the other signals being measured without leaving the page.
Selecting another theme from the list or dropdown updates the page to display that theme's detailed results.
Focus Windows
A Focus Window may appear on a Theme Detail page when sayhii detects a meaningful decline or another result that requires additional review.
The purpose of a Focus Window is to help the organization better understand why a theme's score may have changed.
When a Focus Window opens, sayhii may automatically prioritize follow-up questions for the affected team or organizational unit. The responses to those questions provide additional context beyond the standard theme score.
Focus Window questions are used for diagnostic purposes. Their answers are reported within the Focus Window.
See Attention for the full list of open and closed Focus Windows across your organization, along with their diagnostic results and suggested playbooks.
