Attention
This page covers org-wide reporting tools. It's visible to organization admins and to managers with reporting access—not to every team member.
Attention shows where sayhii is currently directing additional questions across the organization. It helps administrators understand what sayhii is prioritizing, why certain areas are receiving more attention, and where additional information is being gathered.
Focus Windows
Focus Windows appear when sayhii identifies an area that needs additional information or follow-up—the same mechanism that surfaces as a Focus Window on a Theme Detail page, brought together here across the whole organization.
Question selection can adapt based on organizational needs, team trends, employee journeys, and available data. It is not based on an individual employee's own answers.
The Attention page separates Focus Windows by status, allowing users to see:
- Currently open Focus Windows.
- Previously closed Focus Windows.
- The team or organizational unit involved.
- The theme being investigated.
- When the Focus Window opened and closed.
- The change that triggered the Focus Window.
- The number of follow-up responses received.
The specific teams, areas, and information shown within a Focus Window will vary depending on what sayhii identifies within the organization.
Diagnostic Results
As follow-up responses are collected, a Focus Window may display diagnostic information that helps explain what could be contributing to the change.
Depending on the available responses, users may see:
- The questions that were asked.
- The average result for a question.
- Likely drivers.
Diagnostic responses are displayed within the Focus Window and are not added to the organization's normal trend data.
Playbook
When available, a Focus Window may also include a Playbook with guidance for responding to what was identified.
The Playbook may provide:
- Context around the area being reviewed.
- A suggested team action.
- Conversation starters that managers or leaders can use with their teams.
The content of the Playbook may differ depending on the Focus Window.
Journeys
The Journeys section shows how sayhii adjusts questions around important stages of the employee experience.
First 90 Days
The First 90 Days journey follows new employees through a series of scheduled milestones during their first three months with the organization.
Users can see:
- The number of employees currently in the cohort.
- The different milestones included in the journey.
- When each milestone occurs.
- The question associated with each milestone.
- Results for the cohort when enough responses are available.
Each employee progresses through the journey based on their own start date rather than everyone following the same calendar.
When fewer than five employees are included in a cohort, scores are suppressed to protect anonymity.
Transition Probes
Transition Probes provide additional check-ins for employees who have recently moved between teams or organizational units.
This area shows whether transition-related questions are currently in progress. These questions are automatically included when applicable.
Awaiting Re-entry
Awaiting Re-entry identifies employees who have not participated for an extended period and are approaching their return to the normal question flow.
Rather than immediately returning them to the standard sequence, sayhii can begin with a re-entry or welcome-back question.
Sampling Plan
The Sampling Plan shows how sayhii is currently distributing attention across the areas it measures, showing the relative priority being given to each available theme during the current reporting period.
Users can see:
- Each available theme.
- Its current sampling weight.
- Which areas are receiving relatively more or less attention.
Weights help determine how frequently questions from different areas are included in the daily question flow. They may adjust based on factors such as available data, recent movement, or other organizational priorities.
Extra Attention
Extra Attention shows organizational units and areas that the sampling plan is currently prioritizing.
This section may display:
- The organizational unit.
- The theme receiving additional attention.
- Why additional coverage is being provided.
- The amount by which its sampling priority has been increased.
The units and areas listed here will change as sayhii gathers information and adjusts where additional questions are needed.
Areas with limited recent responses may receive additional sampling so sayhii can gather enough information to provide a reliable organizational view.
